POETRY IS IN THE AIR
1L1 and 1L2 students (16 years old) have written poems.
Luiza reports:
THE NEW POETS OF CHAGALL
As part of the lesson we studied a few poems from " The Children's Poetry Archive" . Every student had to choose a poem that corresponded to them most. We learned by heart and stood before the class. Then we proceeded to the oral. After that, the teacher asked us to write a poem of our own, but we had to get inspiration from our previously learned poem. Here are some poems written by these students:
November
The month after November
I think I’ll make a gift.
I think I’ll change the number
Of the population shift.
The mirror is unbroken
So I think I’ll gaze at my reflection.
I’ll be making myself up
With a clown’s makeup.
I don’t like apples
Therefore I think I’ll make a pie.
When I speak
I’ll start at the end.
Julie.
